Anointing + Praying Over Your Home

Have you ever anointed or prayed over your home?

Ryan and I LOVE to do this whenever we move into a new home OR feel like the enemy has gotten a stronghold in our home or family. Here’s WHY and HOW…

Spiritual warfare is real. But it is NOTHING to be afraid of.

“For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands,  for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:6-7

One of the most POWERFUL ways you can have a SOUND MIND is by praying in and by the name of Jesus, especially over your loved ones and your home.

[GATEKEEPER]: One who guards access to a place, a residence or the temple of God; charged with preventing anything unclean from entering the Temple.

“You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you ANOINT my head with oil; my cup OVERFLOWS.” Psalm 23:5

You HOUSE the Holy Spirit, and where the spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom! 🏡🌿

If God invites us to care for where He dwells, that includes our bodies and our homes.

👉🏻 As a woman of God you can SEAL your home by the name of Jesus, casting out the enemy and telling him “This is MY house. This is GOD’S house.”

Prayer shifts atmospheres.

ANOINTING your home with oil is a BIBLICAL symbol, shown all throughout the Old and New Testament, of God’s protection, setting something apart for God, supernatural healing and blessing.

- Anxiousness
- Sickness

- tendencies in your children
- moving into a new home or have simply never done this before
- wanting to seal a promise God has spoken over you
- wanting freedom from a spirit of fear

…IT’S TIME TO ANOINT AND PRAY.

Grab some olive oil, jojoba oil or anointing oil today, if you use Young Living essential oils that’s GREAT to use as well because it’s actually what many used in the Bible!.

  • Go around and place it on the doorposts of each room.

  • Invite God into your home. Put on some worship music.

  • PRAY:
    “Lord, I anoint and pray over this home/room that you have given me. I declare that is yours and yours alone Lord. I pray your protection over this home and our family. You alone are allowed to enter or take residence here. I command the enemy to flee in the name of Jesus! He no longer has any authority or permission to stay here, and the blood of Jesus covers this home. This home is a house of God. Lord you are welcome here. Fill this place with your presence, your nearness, your JOY and your peace. Protect and guide us to honor and love you well.”

  • Pray SCRIPTURE. It is the TRUTH of God and the work of JESUS that sets you free.

  • Then pray whatever comes to your spirit for your specific family.

Here’s to your home being FULL of God! I pray that as you claim your home back in the name of Jesus that you feel His PEACE and protection RUSH in.

Don’t be afraid of the enemy. He has no authority over you. Take back your home in Jesus name. <3
